A very fast-growing population, poverty, very huge disease burden, emerging health problems, frequent epidemics and often very poor infrastructure and lack of responsive health system are among the challenges for the HCF and overall health budgeting. Besides these, a weak health care financing reforms, donor dependent budgeting and poor understanding of the HCF reform implementation are major concerns that I believe need attention.
In this regard, I interested to review and understand the global concepts of health care financing, experiences of various regions of the world and want to support my country’s health system by providing capacity building trainings, integrate my previous knowledge and experience of evidence synthesis to conduct various reviews regarding HCF and avail evidences for decision makers on HCF. Above all, I want to use this opportunity to develop my professional views through this training process and contribute to this area of knowledge.
